As we all know, the Doughboys on 3rd Street (thanks readers for your correction) closed their doors due to rodent infestation. Only a couple short months after the placed was boarded up, they opened a new, flagship location on Highland. AND, if you hadn't heard, the new Doughboys recently shut their doors! Why might you ask...
Some claim rodent infestation others food contamination. Cupid heard from a reliable source at Ammo Cafe that Doughboys attorney fees had gotten $$$$$$$$$ due to a neighbor complaining about the noise. How you like them apples?

Basically they were never supposed to be a restaurant, they had a bevy of code enforcement issues (none were really health department related though--so no, no rats) and the owner didn't really have the gumption to get it together over the course of several years.
so many sides to this story. i think something deeper is going on. maybe the dough was made of marbles.
